I have used book a boat to rent boats on The Vineyard for the last 10 years, and I am looking forward to using book a boat next week when I visit. Wendy, the owner is a very nice, reasonable woman. Everyone who works there is very knowledgeable about boats, the water conditions, and Martha's Vineyard. This is the place to rent a boat during the season - I highly recommend this crew. When the weather is nice, and the conditions are good, there is nothing better than being on a boat on the ocean and this company makes that possible year after year. Thanks Wendy!
Warning to traveler: I had such an awful experience with Book-A-Boat owner on my last trip on Martha's Vineyard. I booked a light boat on their website, came at the dock very early in the morning, signed all the documents with the employee, who was very nice and professional. But the owner came suddenly and decided arbitrarily that I will not take any of her boat. It was such a disappointment. I told my story to few people I met on the ferry who told me they lived a similar experience. Why running a boat rental business if you do not let people rent your boat?!
